When Action Kiwi Marketing (AKM) approached me to design their website I was very excited. AKM are New Zealands only distributor of Drift recording equipment, so I imediately knew they would want something inovative. After a few days I came back to them with a proposal for the design of a website that allows users to upload their own videos taken with their Drift cameras. With every website I design I always ensure that the website is not only aesthetically pleasing and appropriate to the company but functional. So I came up with the idea of making visitors uploading videos register with the site before they can upload. These user website registrations would then be used to compile a marketing list that AKM could use to contact their customer base and anyone who is interested in the use of such products. AKM were very keen on this idea but had some plans of their own. They wanted the website to be set up so they could select templates from the internet to apply to their website with the click of a mouse button. Of course this was not a problem and the website was designed in such a way that they could do this without losing any of the websites functionality and features.

Lara’s Lounge is a “Dinner for six” style dating website with a twist. The owners of Lara’s Lounge wanted to create a dating website that was not the same as other dating websites. It was to have an emphasis on real interactions, rather than rely on people searching online to meet others. Lara’s Lounge wanted to use the concept of “Dinner for six” in Tauranga but needed a website with which to manage members and attract new business.
WebDesignzSEO suggested that the site should have a social networking element, like facebook. The website will not allow searching of members in the traditional sense, but at the same time would allow members to become part of a community utilizing Lara’s Lounge’s Dinner for six services. The advantage of this is it creates a strong incentive for it’s Tauranga based members to continually return to the website to interact, whilst at the same time be frequently updated on the latest Dinner for six events offered by Lara’s Lounge along with any other services Lara’s Lounge chooses to advertise.
This has become a very effective advertising platform, not only providing good services to Lara’s Lounge members but working effectively as a Dinner for six business concept.

The Food Garden – Website Design

This website specializes in selling gluten free and vegan foods to Tauranga and throughout New Zealand. This design was a second iteration of the website by request of the owner. It has flash components, logo design, a contact form and an image gallery.

Firehorse Creations design and manufacture high quality glass mosaics and other glass products. They approached me to design a website which would be both appealing to the eye and have a good design from an SEO perspective, whilst at the same time show off their products.
The end result was a website with a flash component on the home page which shows a rotating image gallery of a selection of their products. Some images required correctional work which WebDesignzSEO also provided. A webpage was also designed with an image gallery of a full selection of products which can be clicked on to show larger images. There is also the option of showing all products in a slideshow and other views via the websites interface.
All hosting and setup of email and hosting was provided by WebDesignzSEO.
The future of the website is in the hands of the owners, but WebDesignzSEO envisage a shopping cart and SEO consultation as potential future projects as the business grows and expands.

MultiDisciplinary Teaching - Concept Website

This is a concept design, for a new education system whereby industrial professionals and expert teachers can collaberatively produce study materials (video, audio, text and html) and have them published in an appealing and easily navigible way without requiring any web development skills (coding or design). Such published study materials are authorised by the manager of the website (of which there can be many) who also requires no special web development skills.
This is a pilot education scheme conceived by David Doria, a ph.D. student studying Engineering at Rensselaer University.

Bast Monitoring do bi-monthly giveaway’s to their customers (and sometimes potential customers). In May they were giving away free website design and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), however the demand got too big and they enlisted us to help.
Because of the positive reports from their customers, they have taken us on as their primary point of call for website design and SEO, for both their customers and their own site.
Since employing our SEO services they now come first, second and third in google searches for EFTPOS Monitoring and have jumped from the fouth page of page results to the second page in google searches for POS Monitoring.
